Different types of writing

We've been lucky enough to observe dozens of different posting styles. I'll define a few of the most prominent styles in terms of authors on the Walker blogs.

Paul Schmelzer(1,2,3)
Paul broke the ice by posting in every blog to keep them active while we were working to get the institution excited about it. Since our departmental authors have taken more ownership of their blogs and become independant Paul has moved into writing mostly on the Off Center blogs.

Paul posts about news and current events related to the arts and culture. He also uses the blogs to test run potential articles for the Walker magazine. Schmelzers writing appeals to a mainstream audience interested in the arts. He also blogs at Eye Teeth

Morgan Wylie
Morgan is an ECP blogger. Her style is mostly off the cuff, approachable and usually funny. It sets a tone very different from what most people would expect from an art center.

Brent Gustafson
Brent posts detailed explainations and his posts are intended to be resources for others.

Doryun Chong
Writes scholarly essays documenting how exhibitions come together.
